About Us
Founded in 1982 by Ned Hengerer, Home Stretchers, Inc. is a residential design-build general contractor in Montgomery County, Maryland, working primarily in Bethesda (over 50 projects in the Wood Acres neighborhood alone), Chevy Chase and Potomac. From new homes, to large, medium and small additions, pop-tops, interior renovation (including kitchens and bathrooms), garages, porches and decks, Home Stretchers is equipped to handle any residential renovation project, from design through permitting to completion, all on a firm fixed price basis. We work with a dedicated group of licensed and insured engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to assure that every project we design is completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
